Ford Salutes Good Works At the NYE Automotive Group, we know the importance of giving back to our community. Ford also knows the value of the folks who make the world a better place through their service to others. In an effort to salute the many unsung heroes of the world, they have created the Built Ford Tough Good Works program to introduce them. Through their Ford Social website, these everyday people who give their time and resources without hesitation are spotlighted in a series of videos showing how they — with the assistance of their Ford trucks — are making a difference. The Good Works series of videos is hosted by Brendon Clark, a professional Bull Riders celebrity. They have introduced good Samaritans like Dan Foster, the creator of a wall of honor for service men and women; Norman Ferguson, a volunteer at a food bank that provides food deliveries to the needy; and Pamela Rickenbach, the executive director of Blue Star Equiculture in Massachusetts, where they provide a peaceful sanctuary for horses in stress, or even in danger for their lives. Each of them has one thing in common … they all need a work truck that will handle their heavy loads, and have looked to Ford for that dependability. Any Ford truck owner doing their own good deeds is invited to submit his or her own story. It’s as simple as clicking the link on the website, and it may even inspire others to do their own outreach to help brighten someone else’s day.
